The Goddess Ostara Tiny Handbook
The Goddess Ostara Tiny Handbook includes spring witchcraft, Ostara holiday rituals, and garden magick with Plants By Laurali! As the goddess of springtime, she represents rebirth, new beginnings, and planting seeds for the future.
In many ways, Ostara reminds me of the new moon magick we celebrate monthly! She symbolizes a fresh start and new beginnings. She is the Germanic goddess of the spring equinox, which usually occurs on the 20th or the 21st of March annually.
When I think of Goddess Ostara, I think of the awakening of Mother Nature! During the spring, the earth becomes lush with growth, butterflies emerge from their cocoon, and fairies come out into the world to play. The veil is thin during this time.
The spring equinox and Ostara holiday are the beginning of the astrological new year when the fire sign of Aries moves into place. This means it’s time for second chances, new blessings, and the magic of life to begin again!
I’ve worked with Goddess Ostara many times throughout the years with great results. There’s something childlike and innocent about her energy, which makes sense, as she is considered to be a young maiden. Working with Goddess Ostara is a playful way to manifest the things you want!
I find that she’s easy to talk to, good-natured, sweet, and pours blessings onto anything or anyone she comes into contact with. She loves flowers, bunnies, butterflies, and garden magick. If you ever feel the need to connect with her, spend time in the garden!
Goddess Ostara can be found in the Great Outdoors, under the moon and stars, and on Trailways. She can be found in garden landscapes, chicken coops, and anywhere hares can be found. If you see a bunny, chances are that Goddess Ostara is nearby.
Ostara holiday is the first pagan holiday that I ever celebrated, long before I discovered I was a green witch! I would spend time with her, painting eggs, planting seeds, watering plants, and writing letters to her. There was always an easy, natural agreement between the two of us!
If you’d like to work with the Goddess Ostara, meet her in the middle! You can adopt or spend time with bunnies, keep an at-home chicken coop to collect farm-fresh eggs, and practice garden magick. She loves relaxing in the garden, sipping tea, and spending time with the people and the animals she loves.
The Goddess Ostara Tiny Handbook
I created the Goddess Ostara Tiny Handbook to encapsulate the magic of what it’s like to work with the Germanic goddess of springtime. She has a fresh, creative energy like no other!
If there are any creative projects or endeavors you’d like to start, be sure to call on Goddess Ostara first! Ostara infuses new projects and business ventures with creativity, blessings, and fun. She is akin to breaking out a box of crayons and coloring outside the lines.
In the March Green Witch Forecast, I spoke about the spring equinox and the magic of Goddess Ostara! This is her time of year to truly shine. Springtime is the perfect time to forge a relationship with her.
Smack dab in the middle of Aries Season, Ostara infuses everything with new blessings, and fresh opportunities, and opens the pathways to new ventures. If you ever feel lost during the season, reach out to Ostara and make contact. She often feels like a warm hug or a cool breeze on your neck!
Goddess Ostara is also known for helping you find hidden talents and abilities you didn’t even know you had. For me, I found that I’m a pretty good cook and make dishes that are simple yet flavorful! When you work with Ostara, you discover new things about yourself.
If you ever feel like you’ve lost your magic or like your soul doesn’t shine anymore, Ostara will give you rebirth and bring you back to life. She revitalizes old, stagnant energies and makes things fresh again.
With Goddess Ostara, it’s out with the old and in with the brand-new! Get ready for transformational energy to take place in your life. Flowers spring from the ground, bunnies make fertility magick, and gardens overflow with beauty and lush greenery.
