On the upside, January is also a month of great motivation! Many people feel inspired in January, revved up to fulfill resolutions, and set intentions for the year ahead!
People tend to go hard at the beginning of the year, only to fall off early in the year. This is a reminder to go slow and pace yourself. After all, Rome wasn’t built in a day, and neither were you!

He is also the god of great strength and can help you start a yoga or weight training regimen that is built to last. Even though Ares is the god of war, he can help you push through when you find yourself waning. To call on Ares during the Winter Solstice, build a fire!
