Plants By Laurali Capricorn Season Baby's Breath Flowers Plant Profile

Capricorn Season Baby’s Breath Flowers Plant Profiles represents a return to simpler times, slow living, and cottagecore with Plants By Laurali! The astrological sign of Capricorn denotes groundedness, earthiness (it is an earth sign after all!), and the material realm. Combining these two gives you a powerful combination of laidback, relaxation, and earth magic!

During Sagittarius Season, we got fired up to set green witch-style intentions for the new year! We made promises to lose weight, get in shape, and eat more of a plant-based diet.

Then, the Winter Solstice and Yule Holiday gave us sunlight, hope, and renewal. During this time, we deep-cleaned our houses, canceled subscriptions, and spent nourishing time with ourselves and our loved ones.

In Capricorn Season, we get a second chance to get back to who we are! We are reminded of our personal brand of magic.

Capricorn people often mate for life and like rituals and routines. They like to stay grounded and down-to-earth in their principles and beliefs.

This makes working with baby’s breath flowers the perfect match for this season of the earth sign! Baby’s breath is often used in traditional ceremonies, especially weddings and handfastings. They denote everlasting love.

They are the kind of flower that reminds me of fresh starts and new beginnings, much like the January Green Witch Forecast where we get a chance to turn over a new leaf! Baby’s breath reminds me of hope, renewal, and all good things.

They remind us to slow down after the busy holiday season. They represent cottagecore and kinfolk-style slow living, which is very nature-inspired!

What I love about baby’s breath flowers is that they fit right into the Capricorn Season with ease and grace! They remind me of simpler times when things were more innocent.

You can use them in an herbal envelope spell or make a pretty bouquet or floral arrangement out of them! They are also one of the most inexpensive plants you can buy and look good on the table.

During Capricorn Season, remember to slow down and enjoy yourself! It’s important to carve out a little time and space for yourself. I also think it’s a great season for staying indoors, at home in front of the fire.

It’s about the little magical moments that are so simple and sweet, they almost pass you by! Capricorn and Baby’s Breath make a great team.

Baby’s Breath Herbal Envelope Spell for Protection

During Capricorn Season, we like to feel safe, loved, and cared for! It just goes with the territory. One of the ways we can do that is by setting up a simple herbal envelope spell for protection.

Baby’s Breath is the perfect companion piece to protection and defense magic! You can protect your home with a line of home defense or do something more specific. For my spell, I am going to put a spell of simple yet powerful protection around myself.

Take a plain white envelope, as white is the color of purity, protection, and innocence. Before putting any ingredients into your envelope, you’ll want to write the name and date of your spell on the back of the envelope where the fold is. This is where you are going to seal the envelope.

For ingredients, you’ll want to keep it simple. Take a handful of baby’s breath flowers and take the head off each one and think of your intention for protection. You are going to deadhead your baby’s breath flowers.

Next, you’ll want to keep feeling, visualizing, and chanting your protection as you add a few more ingredients. Add some white quartz crystals to amplify the spell and take on the flavor of the other ingredients.

In my spell, I use my petition, written on the front part of the envelope, which includes spell ingredients, moon phase, and magical properties. This is the part of the envelope minus the fold.

Here, I implore you to use your witchy intuition to add more ingredients if you feel inspired to! In my spell, I am going to use a few simple ingredients. The envelope (petition), saliva (taglock) to seal the envelope, baby’s breath flowers taken off the stem (protection), and tiny white quartz crystals (to enhance the spell.)

While doing this, you can always put on indie folk music or sing to your flowers! Whatever it takes to get you in the mood to feel safe, loved, and protected.

As you add each ingredient, put your intention into it! That typically involves feeling, intuition, visualization, and chanting. Do it in a way that feels natural to you!

When you seal the envelope, know that you are safe, loved, and protected. Know that it is done and complete! Place your herbal envelope spell somewhere safe and go about your day, knowing it is protecting you.
