Through the years, I’ve begun to see the patterns and themes each month brings. Even though the planets may be doing different things each year simultaneously, an overall theme tends to emerge that can help us navigate each month.
First and foremost, when I think of February, I think of Imbolc Holiday with Saint Bridget! Imbolc holiday represents the midway point between the Winter Solstice and the spring equinox. It represents the budding of springtime.
Secondly, when I think of February, I think of the love energy it contains! February represents the number two. The number two is associated with couples, friendships, and partnerships. This is a highly romantic month that emphasizes relationships.
After all, February 14th is Valentine’s Day! This is a global holiday celebrated worldwide for love and connections. Even if you are single, there is always someone to send love to, even if it is toward yourself.
It’s a period of self-love! The more you love yourself, the more that love can grow and inspire others. This makes this entire month love energy-focused.
When people think of love energy, they think of romantic couples, weddings, and shacking up. But, love is more than that. We can have love for our parents, pets, and children, too. Love is the universal language!
In my January Green Witch Forecast, we focused on turning over a new leaf and finding our spark within! This month we will become more focused on the heart chakra. The heart chakra denotes healing, love relationships, and compassion.

Since February holds a lot of love energy, it also holds the symbol of love. The symbol of love is the heart. Hearts represent love in all its many splendid forms. Hearts can form a love for someone else, but it first starts with the self. During February, practice sending love toward someone energetically. Visualize yourself sitting either in front of yourself cross-legged or sitting across from another person. Picture pink hearts coming from your heart to the person you want to send love to or visualize sending pink hearts from your heart to your heart. You can feel the self-love energy or the person you send love to will feel your love energy energetically.
The Planet Uranus: Surprises, Awakenings, and Groundbreaking Change
During February, try to focus your energy on working with the planet Uranus in your botanical studies. This is something that I plan on doing myself over the month. Uranus is the planet of surprises so it is likely you’ll receive a surprise this month. Most likely, a good and positive surprise. In most cases, it’s something you saw coming but had kind of given up on. Be sure to look for that! To work with Uranus, try crafting a spell or reaching out on a Wednesday. Much like the planet Mercury, this is the ideal time to team up for the element of surprise!

The angel number two represents love, balance, duality, harmony, and pairings! The number two is associated with love and relationships, and all things beautiful and aesthetically pleasing. It is also the number that represents your life path and finding meaning in your career and money. This is a creative symbol of coming together as one!

February is a month that strongly denotes love energy! This kind of energy comes from the heart chakra. The heart chakra denotes healing energy in relationships. The heart is the strongest organ in the body. If your heart is broken or misaligned, it’s important to heal the heart chakra and focus on being of service to others. Show compassion and kindness in areas where you feel stifled yourself. Most of all, it’s important to show that same love, warmth, and compassion to yourself.
Imbolc Holiday and Saint Bridget
Last but not least, February 1st kicks off the month with the Imbolc Holiday! Imbolc holiday is the midway point between winter and springtime. It’s the first budding of flowers, grass, and springtime. It’s when we begin to see the seeds we planted in the winter months come to life. Imbolc Holiday is a direct celebration of Saint Bridget of Kildare, Ireland. She is a goddess who acts fast, bringing forth healing and protective qualities to anyone who seeks it. She can help you with poetry, the arts, music, and working with domesticated animals. She’s amazingly powerful and fast to work with!

Planet Venus - Venus is a Roman Goddess connected to Aphrodite, but with a completely separate and individual personality. Venus can be called upon on a Friday for love spells and attraction spells. The planet Venus can make you look and feel more beautiful than you ever have before, instilling confidence in you. The Venus Flytrap is a plant that strongly denotes Venusian qualities.
