This is your April Green Witch Forecast: Creative Awakenings! When I think of April, I think of the magic of nature. This is the month Earth Day falls into and root chakra activation.
As a nature witch, I am familiar with seasonal shifts, weather changes, and astrological forecasts. A big part of my craft is working with monthly magic!
Through the years, I’ve begun to see the patterns and themes each month brings. Even though the planets may be doing different things each year simultaneously, an overall theme tends to emerge that can help us navigate each month.
April is the month for moving forward, as there is a lot of magic in the air! You might catch up on your responsibilities, foster new friendships, and revive old projects that have been left on the shelf for too long.
In other words, it’s a period of igniting the creative spark within! You might find yourself feeling more lighthearted and carefree. There's a gentle breeze on your daily activities.
In April, Eclipse Season continues, amplifying the magic that can be found in the air. This kind of calm energy can be felt when you are about to have a breakthrough, a spiritual awakening. Something big is about to manifest!

Earth Day: A Green Witch Holiday
On April 22nd, we celebrate Mother Earth and all she has to offer. Without her, we wouldn’t exist. This is the optimal time to become one with Mother Nature. Spend time in the garden, plant a tree, leave tiny gemstone offerings to the plant spirits, and a drizzle of honey for the pollinators. Give back to the earth, as she gives back so much to mankind.
Tree Spirit Symbolism
Trees represent family affairs, ancestral veneration, and financial growth and security. Additionally, trees represent longevity, growth, and long-lasting development. Trees are built to last! Trees also provide a home to many woodland creatures, plant life, and insects.
Root Chakra Symbolism
The root chakra denotes warmth, energy, home, heart, and financial security. It represents our sexuality and our ability to find comfort in a mate. To activate the root chakra in April, spend time in nature! Take a hike, go camping, flower picking, mushroom foraging, and gardening to heal the pelvic region of your body. Think of the colors red, brown, and brick when activating the root chakra energy center.

The angel number four denotes twin flame connections, stability, security, house, family, and celebration! When this number shows up in your life, it means you’ve finally landed. Gaia is the Greek Goddess of the earth! She is made up of earth and all of the elements. She represents weather magic, the changing seasons, and the four cardinal points. She can help you with grounding your energy and becoming more in tune with the animals, plant life, and gemstones that reside here.
The Planet Mars (Motivation, childlike wonder, fun, activities)
The Planet Mars denotes the motivation, childlike wonder, and the magic of being an Aries person! When there’s a lot of Martian energy in the air, things become fun and interesting. There’s a lot of playfulness to be found during this time. You might feel more carefree and lighthearted.

Nature Spirits - The nature spirits, also known as the fairy folk, are probably the most prominent spirits you can call on during a life transition. They live in the in-between realm, also known as the lower realm, in another realm within the Earthly realm. They are easily accessible, but you have to play nice and follow their rules. You have to make friends first by picking up trash and caring for the planet. You can easily reach them on a nature walk!
As you can see, April is all about creative awakenings! It’s a period for grounding your energy, activating the root chakra, and healing your inner child. It’s a great time to be alive!
